Smell the Roses at our Monthly Meeting

7 pm Last Tuesday of the Month

Chico Veterans Memorial Hall

Welcome to the Butte Rose Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the enjoyment of roses.

We are a group of passionate rose enthusiasts based in Butte County, California where the organization was founded in 1994 as a chapter of the American Rose Society which is a member of the World Federation of Rose Societies. We are committed to sharing our love for these beautiful flowers with the community. As a member of the Butte Rose Society, you will have access to a wide range of resources, including garden tours, rose workshops, and expert advice on rose pruning and care. Whether you are a seasoned rose gardener or just starting out the Butte Rose Society is here to help you grow and appreciate the beauty of roses.

We meet the last Tuesday of each month, except for June, July, and December at 7 pm in the Veterans Hall, 554 Rio Lindo Avenue, Chico, CA. We have interesting, informative speakers, we learn how to care for and exhibit our roses, we share appetizers and beverages, and during the blooming season some members exhibit their roses . We also have a members only garden tour in April.
